3 Peaks Challenge for Greenfingers Charity
In July 2010 Paul and Anthony joined twelve other BALI (Birtish Association of Landscape Industries) members and industry colleagues to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge. The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in Wales, England and Scotland within 24 hours. These are Snowdon in Wales, which is 1,085 metres high, Scafell Pike in England, 978 metres high and Ben Nevis in Scotland, 1,344 metres high.
Greenfingers is the horticulture industry’s charity, which raises money to build gardens in children’s hospices across the country. Some of us helped construct the garden at Chestnut Tree House hospice in Arundel, Sussex, 18 months ago and we wanted to raise as much money as we could to build more gardens at children’s hospices across the UK

The challenge was completed in 23 hours and 48 minutes in some appalling weather. Altogether the group raised over £15,000 for Greenfingers.
