Design brief

PCLandscapes were asked to create a contemporary family garden to complement a recently designed high spec house and to discharge the soft landscape planning requirements.

We were asked to include a new garden office/gym/children’s chill out studio, along with multiple seating areas for different uses, a water feature & screening along with a lighting & irrigation plan.

Using the ecology report we could utilise the existing planting and introduce new trees, shrubs & perennials to create a biodiverse rich planting scheme that also acted as a screen with focal points and feature plants to add visual texture, movement and year-round interest.

Due to the time scales and forward planning of the clients we were able to save and transplant some of the specimen trees that were already in the garden that needed to be relocated due to the new house layout and reposition them within the new garden design.
