We opted to reduce this garden wall in Ascot to a more acceptable height and increase the planting border to soften the entire area. The existing walls were reinforced concrete faced in brick so removal was too costly.
This project featured over-constructed garden walls left by the developer, these had been built too high creating a narrow and claustrophobic terrace running parallel to the house. This was just one part of a much larger landscape project we carried out at this property. Our aim was to keep it simple and not add to the over development.
The completion of this project included:
- Gaining planning permission for the works undertaken at this property
- Installed a new drainage system behind the walls and under the borders
- All lighting and irrigation conduits were built through the walls
